SugarCoachAI ("we", "us") helps you make lower-sugar choices through a Telegram bot. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. We keep it short and plain.

What we collect

• Your Telegram basics — your Telegram user ID and first name, so we know who's chatting.
• What you send us — the food/drink text, photos, voice notes or videos you send so we can estimate the sugar and reply.
• Your sugar diary — a simple daily record of items you checked and their estimated sugar, plus your daily target.
• Weight (optional) — only if you choose to track it with /weight.
• Subscription status — whether you're on a trial or paying. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

How we use it

To give you sugar verdicts and swaps, track your day and week, send the check-ins you've opted into, and run your subscription. That's it — we don't sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

• Telegram — delivers the messages.
• Anthropic — powers the AI verdicts and plans.
• OpenAI — transcribes voice notes (only if you send them).
• Stripe — processes payments.
• Railway — hosts the app and database.

How long we keep it

• Your sugar diary is kept while your account is active, so you can see long-term trends.
• Raw message transcripts are automatically deleted after 90 days.
• You can wipe everything at any time — send /deletemydata in the bot.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, or delete your data, and object to processing. The fastest way to delete everything is /deletemydata. For anything else, email hello@sugarcoachai.com.

Security & children

We protect your data with reasonable technical measures. SugarCoachAI is intended for adults (18+).
